Casting generally does not apply pressure, the requirements for the strength of equipment and molds are not high, the product specifications are relatively small, and the thermal stress in the product is also low. Therefore, the manufacturing investment is low and large and medium-sized products with high performance can be produced, but the production cycle is long and mechanical processing is required after forming. On the basis of traditional casting, Pai developed methods such as grouting, embedded casting, pressure casting, rotational casting and centrifugal casting.

 

①Grouting. The difference between this method and casting is that the product slips out of the mold after casting; while during grouting, the mold is indeed an integral part of the product itself.

 

②Inlay casting. Various non-plastic parts are placed in the mold cavity and dried together with the injected liquid material to keep them contained.

 

③Working pressure casting. Release a certain amount of pressure on the material during casting, which is beneficial to injecting the thick material into the mold and shortening the mold filling time. It is mainly used for epoxy resin glue casting.

 

④Rotation casting. After the material is injected into the mold, the mold rotates around two or more axes at a relatively low speed. The material spreads throughout the inner cavity of the mold core by force, and is shaped by heating and drying. Used to produce spherical, tubular and other hollow products.

 

⑤Centrifugal casting. The quantitatively analyzed liquid material is injected into a mold that rotates around two axes at high speed and can be heated. Centrifugal force is used to spread the material onto the inner cavity of the mold core, and is dried and solidified into a tubular or hollow cylindrical shape through physical or chemical effects. products. Individual cast polyester products can also be formed using centrifugal casting.
