The problem brought by this transmission form is that the chain polygon effect generated by the two-stage chain drive increases, and if the conveyor chain crawls, the "water wave" phenomenon will be more serious. Second, the efficiency of this transmission form is relatively low. When the drive wheel sprocket rotates, the inherent characteristics of the chain drive will cause the gap between the sprocket and the chain to be too large, resulting in a certain degree of vibration in the frame.
It should be avoided as much as possible in the aluminum ingot transmission system. In the aluminum machinery transmission system, the polygon effect of the chain drive is considered to be one of the reasons for the formation of water waves. The polygon effect causes the linear velocity of the chain and the angular velocity of the side wheel to change periodically, which causes impact, vibration and noise to the chain and sprocket. Not only does the transmission speed drop and the wear is serious, but it also has a destructive effect on the chain. The use of chain drive is limited in the case of motion balance requirements and high speed. The working sprocket rotates at an isometric speed, while the instantaneous speed of the chain advances periodically from small to large and from large to small. The change in chain speed is repeated every time the chain link is turned. The polygonal effect of the chain will cause the chain to vibrate, causing the mold to vibrate and the liquid aluminum to shake. Since the temperature near the inner wall of the mold is relatively low, the liquid aluminum at this position solidifies first, and the highest peak of the unsolidified aluminum water dust wave solidifies and forms every time it approaches the solidified aluminum. The aluminum ingot is bounded by the middle, making it appear deeper grooves. The characteristic of chain drive is also that the higher the chain speed, the greater the instability of the chain drive, which limits the application of this type of transmission method in high-yield aluminum ingot machines. Our factory now has an aluminum ingot transmission system structure. The most direct solution is to reduce the water supply of the chain drive, reduce the polygonal effect of the conveyor belt chain, and improve the surface quality of the cast aluminum ingot.
